£15m deal – Our client EweMove purchased by Martin & Co
It has just been announced that Martin & Co’s have taken over national estate agent franchise, EweMove, for £15m! EweMove have been one of our biggest and most active clients since they were launched in 2014 by founders Glen Ackroyd and David Laycock. Not afraid to be controversial and push the boundaries the iconic sheep brand has become nationally renowned. Since we started developing the brand identity for EweMove we’ve seen them grow from the 1 franchise they started with to the 99 they have now!
Having worked with EweMove from the very beginning, their ambition and vision always impressed us. EweMove has always strived to stay ahead of the game and at the beginning of this year, we relaunched their website. The new site is completely optimised to attract and convert leads and the results over the past 7 months speak for themselves.
Now Martin & Co has acquired EweMove’s 90 franchises to their books, they have become the UK’s biggest property franchise group. The EweMove franchise will still be operating under the current brand and both Glen and David are due to stay with the business in new roles. When asked about the branding, Ian Wilson CEO of Martin & Co said he was happy with the EweMove signature sheep branding as “the public regards most agents as sharks”.
